Game of Life Blog Reflection

 This Thursday at 4th block my year group 9, well as the year 10's went to the Game of life which Is located at  A&P showgrounds. We went there to learn about what we want to do with ours lives. The positive thing about the game of life was Me getting a kiwi fruit knife which looked like a real knife(WHICH WAS NOT IT WAS JUST PLASTIC) and I poked my brother with It. The minus side of the game of life was me not getting to see everything else as we had only 40 minutes I think. And what I found interesting was, Learning about this one boat which had lots of good parts and looked very cool. 

Resilience

 My 3 Strengths are Bravery,Perseverance and Social intelligence

Examples:

Bravery: I have shown bravery while facing my challenges and going through pain.

Perseverance: I have perseverance, I don't give up while facing my goals because I am a hard worker.  

Social Intelligence: I am very social intelligent while It comes to knowing everyone around me and knowing what they feel like and what there habits are after I have been around them for awhile.

12/03/2021 Friday well being blog

Nothing quite interesting  happened since from last week. However I played a cricket game on wednesday afternoon It was campion green  vs campion nobles. We had a fun and tough game and at the end we managed to win with having 160 runs, the other team with 102 runs. I also had done a presentation on how Manaakitanga is shown on my class ''ALL IN THIS TOGETHER''. All though I am not done but I can say I have gotten the correct information and I do need to add more images and animation.

 All I can say Is that I have worked hard on everything this week and I am appreciating the learning that I am Enhancing.

I also had been to the hospital this week to get my knee

checked. This Is the image from the hospital.

This Is quiet literally my week and I hope ITs way exciting next week. 

2021: How's It Going So Far

 My year 2021 has been very boring and very enjoyable, The enjoyable part Is that I have been contact with my friends online on my phone and In school and playing my favourite sports and going to the park and playing video games. My classes have been going good so far however we've had to do somethings like surfing and presenting I've been nervous and excited for the 2 things That I have done and I hope I can advance my skill for those 2 The first time I did surfing  I crashed Into the waves so many times and nearly drowned 2 times however now I am not drowning and I can surf standing up for 3 seconds, and with the presentation. My group had nailed It quite good my voice was loud and clear although I did not make eye contact. The most  Unpleasant things were the covid -19 and the tsunami warnings like the one below. There has been at least 4 warnings this morning and a earthquake at 2am which made me come out of sleep and had me be awake for 5 hours because after the quake I could not sleep again! So far 2021 Has been good and I hope It stays good! 

Market day is today!!

 Today is market day and we finished doing our  preparation
and today we also went to other peoples stalles and checked their work as well. At Least 3 other people had stolen our idea, However I think our one is the best one! As you can see from this picture THat i took of our stall that It has a big board showing the price and our names and our logo we also showed our prices to indicate how much they are worth! Mr Dun had make'n the big board and he also told us to set up our wood in fancy ways to attract customers And we also have paper bags in the background of our products, we got the bags from COuntdown. We got 13 bags for $0.20 Small wood is on the right side by the green table and the large wood are on the left side to the wall. THis product has taken us at least 9 weeks to create and we are very pleased with the results. We are deciding to bring a table cloth to put on the table for attraction and we might not if we canrt find it. AT the end of the day we hope that our product sells and we make a decent amount of money for the charity we will donate     

Week 9 reflections

 

1. Do you feel your team has worked well together? How so? 

I do believe my team has worked very well, they have helped me to do tasks and we have showed teamwork and hard working, we never gave up during our project and we were not goofing of while making it. 

2. What have you done to get over difficulties or challenges? 

How I managed to get over difficulties and challenges were asking my team mates for help and the teacher as well

3. How has your teacher helped you to become business prepared for market day? 

They have been yelling at us to do our work and we have been totally focused to do our work  

4. List all the things you need to bring with you for market day next Friday We need to bring bags for the driftwood and smaller bags for the candles 

We Finished Our Product!!!

 Today we finished our product and chived them as well. Today we completed 3 driftwood and my favourite one must be the one on the far right! It has so many holes and it looks very clean, and with the candles in it looks more beautiful. We will know be planning on how to sell it and are also planning on completing our poster and deciding where we should get our bags from, for putting the wood in and selling it, we might also have our candles in a different packaging as it has a chance of falling if on the wood and getting crushed which is not good. we are deciding to sell the big ones for about $15 and the small ones for atleast $10 or $12 and if next week we have time I will go to the workshop and grab the wood which is full of sand and grab a wet paint brush and clean it of or maybe without water.
