Driftwood hangers PLANNING

 

So we are currently planning on collecting the driftwood, so we had an idea that on Sunday on the 25th of the October we are going to go to the waikanae beach to collect driftwood we will collect approximately 10 driftwood and we will also collect 40 pieces of sticks to have it drilled on the wood and make it into a hanger, We will be there at 2pm in the afternoon, we will be there for 1 to 3 hours to collect the best wood! We will transfer the materials we need from Gagan and I's bike and joe will take it in his vehicle with his dad giving us company.( Me and Gagan are trained pro's so we will be safe taking the wood!) We will take the wood to school with a bag and store it in the woodwork room. With our logo we will glue it on the bottom giving pride of our work. Driftwood is a natural resource sustainability because Millions of pieces come from the ocean and as the government is getting sick of it, we can collect some. And that it is a wood that doesn't get cut of the trees and is harmful   

Week 2 Reflection questions

Today went well because my team managed to finish the business proposal and the cv and careers expert work, so as me, We also thought about making the driftwood black and have the logo on the middle with there being only 4 hooks on it!The Cv was hard cause I didn't have a job so I had to sit on the chair for 3 minutes thinking about my work experiences I did not learn any new business terms Next week is the holidays so i wont be there!

Week 2 of Prep Introduction of our product

 Today I will be talking about our product Named the ''Driftwood Hangers'' This piece of simple wood will revolutionise the wood market, it has a feature of holding clothes, hats and any wearable material, It will have a simple fit design so you could put it anywhere around the house. We will have it coloured black as it will look amazing with our logo and have it placed on the middle of the wood.Our logo will be this  (which is on the top!) The hanger will have a silver or black round hook which will be holding the clothes. This will be the key material on our amazing product! If you are wondering what '' You can drift with the wood'' means well it can mean anything, such as in my mind it means, Give your life to the wood!

          

 Today we had a programme called prep and the members in my group were Joe and Gagan, we will be doing it for along time until the date of the 4th of december 2020, The things that went well was making the logo for our company and deciding on what we're going to be designing, our team work was very good we were listening to all of the members and paying attention and giving ideas! The difficulty we had was making the logo because we never did that in our existence and the website was very confusing to use. What i need to work on for next week, I need to get a better understanding with what i will do and write down more of what we will do

Non-Stop Cricket Reflection

1. What safety management strategies did you use when playing non-stop cricket?

Moved to the front of the school because it was hot on the field & there were some shade with the trees.We betted in the shade. Wearing sun block,Hat & sunglasses.

2. Explain what a risk is and give three examples of risks from non-stop cricket (Try and give one from each category).

Explanation:A risk is what you are taking that might be dangerous to you or someone.

People :getting sunburnt, getting a heat stroke, crashing into each other.

Equipment: slippery bat handle,heavy bat,no sunblock.

Environment: hot grass, crash in a tree,wind blows to hard ball can fly away.

3. It was very hot during non-stop cricket the other day, how did you keep yourself safe during the hot weather? What more could you have done?

wear hat,sunblock,glasses,was in the shade waiting on the batter to get out.
